Here are some answers to some questions submitted via the website from fans...

How do you and Felix make this super-dance on your show?
Both Felix and I have always loved dancing to music, so i guess this translates to the music of the band and our on-stage presence. The dance we do in The Chariot is based on a step called the Leo Walk from the dance style called Locking. I was taught this dance a number of years ago by a dancer called Sugapop from the Electric Boogaloos, a dance group which was and is leaders in the Popping and Locking dancestyles. I showed Felix this step and we decided to put it in the show

Why do you like being a DJ?
I have always loved all kinds of music.  Being a Dj lets me explore this music and lets me play it/mix it/skratch it how i feel. Also making people dance and enjoy themselves is a good feeling to have when you’re on stage or at a club or at a dance battle.
 
Do you intentionally follow the sun when you tour?
Most people enjoy themselves more in the summer by going out or going on holidays so we definitely try and follow the sun, because with it are good times!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Batman or Superman, still haven't decided.

What other musical 'things' do you do in your spare time away from TCE?
I scratch a lot at home with friends, Dj for the bgirls and bboys at dance events and sometimes at other parties.

Favourite smell?
Mums curry.

What song will always get you on the dance floor?
Get on the Good Foot, James Brown.

Favourite Dj?
Qbert.

Favourite Festival?
Woodford Folk Festival.

Favourite City apart from Melbourne?
New York.
